Day of the Dead -WCB#126
It is All Souls Day today, and I have taken that to mean ALL Souls from days gone by. I wanted to show you what the kids did to celebrate the pet souls that past over to the other side. They made colorful headstones for their pets! Look at the front, there was one for Zoe the cat. Cute huh? Anyway, I am celebrating all the pet souls that have come before me. Come celebrate with me as part of the Day of the Dead - Dia de los Muertos!

I AM celebrating :
I Dare You!
Yes, It is ME, Anastasia! Karl was thoughtful enough to put the Dare out on the Day of the Dead, so I can come personally! And if you don't accept the challenge, I might just come again and haunt you, Hahahahahahahahaha!
Anastasia
That's a wonderful cat themed day of the dead post!
That is very creative and touching, besides!
That is a touching thing to do - it's nice to know that they are still thinking of the kitties who have passed over (and I think I see a headstone for a doggie too!)
oh...that's some vewy nice headstones they made.
Around here, we frequently honor those who have gone before by telling the stories we love from our time with them. From Tabatha, who got "babatized" on a regular basis, to Chester, who pulled chicken out of the pan while it was frying. From George, whose greatest love was canned pineapple, to Sam, who lived 14 years after we were told he was going to die. They all share a special place in our hearts and memories.
What a wonderful way to celebrate the ones who came before. :)

This is very touching...
Awww that's very sweet.
So sweet... Thanks for sharing.
I said extra special hellos to Scoop on that day. Still miss the old fuzz.
We've had Chinese day/month of the dead for people, but must check on the Hindu and Muslim equivalents. Are there Native American ceremonies too?
That is a wonderful Day of the Dead tradition. It's sweet and touching.
Hi Every cool cat! Thank you for stopping in and remembering all the happy times of those pets that have come before us! The Day of the Dead is such a nice way to virtually hug all those cool cats who have gone over the rainbow bridge.
Don't forget Anastasia's Dare - only one more day until voting begins!
Karl
