Has it been another year already? Boy, this year has been a bit of a blur, just like my picture! I think this picture was taken when I was yawning really quick. I hope for another good year in my lovely warm house, and with lots of food and treats that I like. I am hoping for a lot of goodness for my cool cat friends out there too! Meow!

Shortest Day

Hello, and happy shortest day of the year. I am sitting near the back window trying to get the most sun as I can. I feel like the day is so short, that I must sit here all day long to get the most warm sunlight that I can. The sun went down so early, and that is when I move to the front window to look out and see when my people will come to feed me. I had to sit for an extra long time after the sun went down. I swear, just a short 6 months ago, it was still bright and sunny when my people would walk through the door to feed me.

Everybody's Buddy WCB #80

One of my neighbors to the rear is Buddy. He thinks he is just everyone's buddy, thus the name Buddy. He gets let out, and he makes a bee-line to my back deck and struts around. Just look at him. He thinks he is king of the neighborhood.
And as he always does, he comes running up to the big back window, and looks in at me. I just cannot get a moments peace from Buddy!
Look, this is what I see when Buddy looks in. Sometimes he sits there, and even one time he decided to take a nap right there! I meow at him to tell him to go home, but he doesn't listen.

Cat and the bear WCB #79

So, my people have a facination of taking pictures of me while I am just hanging out. Why they put this bear on me, I will not know. Here I am with this little orange bear on my back. I was just lying around, minding my own business, and "plop", "look here Kitty", "flash", it was done. I was not amused.

Hope and Tomatoes WCB #78

Hope Kitty is my next door neighbor. She is pictured here smelling the last tomatoes off the vine. She has a luxurious coat, and her mom puts on a collar on Hope to match the season. The one thing that I am learning to get use to about Hope is that when Hope's mom gets home and opens the door, Hope likes to run out. Hope always runs over to my front window and jumps on it to see me. It startles me sometimes when I am not expecting her to run up to my window, and I have to meow and turn around and walk away. Then, after a few seconds I walk back to the window and see Hope getting picked up by her mom, and Hope's mom always says nice things to me through the window. Hope's mom calls me Miss Kitty.
